The Tartu Peace Treaty (in Estonian, Tartu rahu) was a peace treaty signed between Estonia and the SFSR of Russia on February 2, 1920, which ended the Estonian War of Independence.
Under the terms of the treaty, "Russia recognizes without reservation" the independence of the Republic of Estonia de jure and renounces in perpetuity all its rights over the territory of Estonia.
